Simatech Vapour Shop 6338 Metral Dr Unit No. 4A

Just went in for the first time looking for some juice. I asked for a specific brand which they didn't have and the guy was kind of rude when he said he didn't carry it.. I let that slide and requested some apple flavoured Juice that didn't have the ice. He showed me some and I picked an iceless flavour, he then recommended different one than what I chose, I said sure because they didn't have the brand I wanted so I really needed a recommendation (thinking it would not have the ice, I said yes) and when I took my first hit it was straight up an iced flavour, checked the package and sure enough it said iced. Pretty upsetting because I specifically asked for no ice and he recommended an iced flavour immediately after. Not really good business and a waste of $50 for me when I can't afford to buy multiple bottles a week. Just over all this experience left a bad taste and I'll be checking everything twice if I come here again.

I used to love this store, but one staff member in particular has ruined the experience for me. (I believe her name is Shyla.) I wanted to buy my brother a bottle of juice for Christmas. I knew the brand, strength, and flavour, but little did I know, it comes iced and non-iced. She asked which one I’d like and I told her, “it’s a Christmas present so I’m not sure, but he does exclusively shop here so if I gave you his phone number is there any way you could look up his profile and tell me which one he gets? I’d really hate to get him the wrong juice” she didn’t say no, but instead completely disregarded my request and said “here, he’ll probably like this one”- fast forward, I give it to him, and he’s disappointed because it’s not the right one. I understand that maybe it’s a customer privacy policy, but he’s my brother, we have the same last name & address, I know his phone number by heart, and I already knew what to get him just missed one detail. (and if policies were the case, she at least could have explained that to me instead of disregarding my request…) This experience alone wasn’t enough to make me stop shopping here, but the next one was. My mother has a speech impediment (a stutter) and the both of us understand that not everyone knows what a stutter is, so she occasionally gets the weird look. But as she stuttered while speaking to Shyla, Shyla laughed in her face… Her unprofessionalism and immaturity speaks volumes about the kind of people they hire here… So if you’re disabled, don’t come here as there’s a good chance you’ll get laughed at by Shyla. If you’ve got the option, please do yourself a favour and go to the Bowen location, where I’ve never had a bad experience.

The staff at this location are always very friendly and helpful! Awesome job folks, thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

Great overall experience. They helped a fairy new vapour find what was best for my situation quitting smoking. Great advice. Good service

For the most part acceptable. Had an encounter with a pretentious, young lady named Shayla at the North Nanaimo location. Customer skills we poorly lacking
