Empire Vapes 851 Fischer-Hallman Rd

My mom went in to purchase a Level X flavour beast pod today, and was charged $30 on the dot and 33.90 after tax. I have purchased these pods in the past and every place I’ve purchased from I have been charged $19.99 before tax so roughly $22. Even on the flavour beast website it is priced at $19.99. She explained to me that the woman had scrunched up the receipt and seemed hesitant to give it to her once asked, and couldn’t remember if the item was even scanned. Once I took a closer look at the receipt I noticed the item description was put as “custom item” leaving me to believe the worker had manually put in the price. To my disbelief I called the store and the woman explained in a rude tone that my mom had confirmed the price with her before purchasing. (Which my mom says never happened) then abruptly hung up the phone… I believe that the use of NFC card readers may be a contributing factor for this business in particular to engage in unethical practices. I seriously think someone needs to take a deeper look into this establishment because some sketchy business is definitely taking place.

Only giving 1 star because you can't give 0. This store is the WORST vape store I have ever been to. Their products are not only grossly overpriced but they are terrible quality. And customer service is atrocious as well. I bought a vape here that stopped working the same day as purchased and when I went back they did nothing for me. Unbelievable. The product I purchased just burns constantly on its own which is honestly quite unnerving, it crackles like it's going to explode when im not even touching it. They are so terrible with customers they just looked at me blank faced and told me to buy another one. YEAH RIGHT. Never coming back here. Highly recommended no one else does either unless you like getting cheated out of your money for inferior products and then being eye-rolled at like you're an idiot. Horrible horrible. The places I go to on the regular are such nice people that not only stand by their products but are more than happy to accommodate if there is ever something wrong with them. Disgusting people at Empire, don't know how they sleep at night this is dirty.

Disgustingly overpriced. Atleast 30% more than most other vape stores. A disposable Oxbar 8000 vape cost me $50, would have cost me $30 at other stores I've gone to. Only went here for the convenience as I live near by. Will not be returning. Typical gouging from a certain type of owner. And seeing as they unashamedly sell to minors, they should consider changing their name to "Statutory Vape"

Very over priced and I had to show the staff their stock because they don't know anything about vaping. I do not suggest. Also prices are too high. Staff is nice though.

Never vaped before and was persuaded by friends to try it. I was recommended Empire Vapes downtown Barrie to go. When I walked into the shop I was greeted by the owner I think his name was Alex. He was so knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what vape worked for me. The store has so many options and never made me feel uncomfortable being a “newbie” to vaping. I’d never go anywhere else!! **
